Why is my puppy's ears no longer standing straight up like they use to?

Her ears are now drooping. She's a mix between a papillon and shi tzu and is only 3 months.

You answered the question: she is a mix. Since one breed has erect ears & the other doesn't, you have no way of knowing what hers will do. They may flop over fully, halfway, or (most unlikely) stand. Just have to wait till she is around 1 year old to see!

you might be able to have them stand up again. bring the dog to a groomer and have them shave the dogs ears. the hair is weighting the ear leather down. remove the weight and the ears will pop back up. you have to keep the weight light for close to a year. that's how we keep yorkies ears up.
