A man looks very nice, clean and professional in a tie and shirt. And besides perhaps the ties serves the purpose of allowing your girlfriend/wife the pleasure of dragging you through the door after a long day at the office. Why, just becasue you look so good in your shirt and tie. Actually, I think it has more to do with looking professional. God bless****

It is an important factor toward success to follow policies and procedures. If following the dress code shows your respect for policy, then you can be taken serious in the firm. When you leave policy or procedures up to your own discretion, chances are you may wander off the path of management's lead.

It won't kill us to dress professionally in the workplace, this I know. It won't secure a place in heaven nor a place on the board of directors. But when we follow directions from the powers that be, we are respecting their code and standards while in their employment and a future with the company.

Let this standard of dress become a part of you and you will someday be in a position to make changes that will offer flexibility to dress codes. That would be a great way to get even, wouldn't it?
