well if u ask my opinion i would say yes because when a man looks into your i's during a conversation it gives many women a sign that he could like u.

That was poorly worded, but I think you got your point across and I think it's appropriate for anyone speaking to you to look you in the eye...talking and looking elsewhere implies their focus isn't on what they are saying or their interest in your reaction to it.
