It all depends on the company and the thought put into it. I'm perfectly happy with a bottle of $20 bubbly and some easy pasta dish at home on V-Day. But, I'll also be perfectly happy with the restaurant we are going to and the bottles of Dom & J Schram we have picked out to join us there.

for me red roses, french restaurant, and champagne

but whatt do you think she will like better? Does she prefer big mac and CHEAP card for w.h smith or the other thing?

anyways the reason i would pick the red rose thing because the other choice is CHEAP!!

anyways good luck

nah...we don't do that anymore, it's cheap and tacky and we love each other 365 days of the year not just Feb 14th. think it's fun for the kids though...although the big mac is tempting!! x

Cheap card and making dinner at home. We're saving up for a vacation. Valentine's is just another day, we don't need fancy to say i love you.

Everything you mentioned is great , but I don't like roses. All am I looking for Valentines is to be with the one I love and to be loved. Everything else is just trivial.
