You can actually slice up a cryogenized embryo like a pizza, and then implant each 'slice' in a different womb. These clones may eventually develop into full human beings....
The nagging question here is.....Does each clone get only so much of a soul or a full one?
And if so, can the scientist actually 'command' God to provide as many souls as slices the scientist cuts?

The nature of cloning is to make another person with the same genetic code as the original. The person would have to have the "exact" same experiences to form the same opinions. The brain changes by the experiences the person has and the "time" that they live in. Morals and society influence the way and what we think. A clone of a person would have a different soul, as they are born from different living material. Life is created by God alone. Clones are the use normal sperm and egg manipulated by scientists and doctors and reinserted in to a mother to carry to term. To date clones have had too short of a life span to actually document the similarities or differences between copies.

Million dollar question, and one that terrifies the sh.it out of the fundies.
Since a soul is placed in all humans at or shortly before birth, than a clone would have a soul also. The body would be the clone, not the soul.

Yes, you would recreate the person.
Souls only exist in the mind. Once the clone starts living, the mind of the clone would diverge from that of the original. At that point, you would have two "souls."

It would be the same exact think if it were cloned. However, depending on the things that the brain sees, hears, and learns, which will not be the exact same as brain #1, it will develop different synapses for different areas of interest, therefore changing the brain slightly.

Only if there was continuity of consciousness, and the first person wouldn't still be alive. Because you cannot be in two places at once. I mean, even if this person was EXACTLY the same as me, unless I was actually in their consciousness, their head, using their senses, it wouldn't be me. And same for anyone.

I suppose anything is possible. I think however, scientists would have a problem locating enough of your brain to clone!

If it could be duplicated particle for particle, I would say yes. But that's probably impossible.
