Ok.. what is a wart? Where do they come from? How do you get rid of them? (with out going to the doctors) Do those home remidies (the ones you find in the drug store) really work?

Just a few questions...

Wart donner, here!

A wart is a virus and must be treated very aggressively.

I have one on my right pinky and I am trying to kill it with very, very pleasant results.

The life of my wart is, now, close to four years old, and this is the first time I've attempted to get rid of this bugger.

Slice a tiny portion of garlic (as big around as your wart) and place it on top of the head of the wart. If you have Tea Tree oil, place the tiniest dab on the cushion part of the bandage, of course. Wrap the bandage around with the piece of garlic still resting on top of the wart. Leave on for 2 to 3 hours, remove it. Repeat for the middle of the day and remove it. Repeat for the evening before bed and remove it. Let it air out overnight. Do this for a total of 8 to 12 weeks. You MUST be aggressive and treat this like prescription medication!!

You'll start to notice favorable results within a week or two. You must continue this regimen until the wart is completely gone and your skin looks as if you never had a wart.

Try it as I'll be doing the same along with you.

Good luck...

Warts are a type of infection caused by viruses in the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. There are more than 100 types of HPV viruses. Warts can grow on all parts of your body. They can grow on your skin, on the inside of your mouth, on your genitals and on your rectal area. Some types of HPV tend to cause warts on the skin, while other HPV types tend to cause warts on the genitals and rectal area. Some people are more naturally resistant to the HPV viruses and don't seem to get warts as easily as other people

Covering a wart with duct tape may also help because it irritates the wart and the skin around it, causing the body to attack it. Cover the wart with duct tape for up to a week. Then remove the tape, soak the wart in water and rub it gently with an emery board or a pumice stone. Leave the tape off overnight, then repeat treatment until the wart goes away. If this is not successful after 2 months, see your doctor to try another approach. For more info, go to the web site below for more info

All warts are caused by HPV, Human Papaloma Virus. If it is just on you hands or feet, over the counter remedies usually work, although much slower than nitrogen freezing. They do have the nitrogen availble otc now. If they are genital, you need to seek medical treatment.
