Ive always been afraid of needles, and when I have to get one I get light headed and really nervous. I even passed out after I got my belly button peirced. But this Friday I have to get a tetnis shot, so does anyone know how I can not be so scaird?

Think of why you could possibly be afraid. What could possibly happen? I'm thinking NOTHING. A tetanus shot lasts for approximately 3 seconds. You've had your belly button pierced, so I assume you've got your ears pierced. A shot isn't worse than that. Much quicker. Just take a breath and go with it.

Just as your about to get the shot, seriously concentrate on three minutes from now, because in three minutes it will all be over.

You just have to face your fears. Think of something calming and relaxing and it will be over in no time. (or get drunk right before you head out to get your shot) lol
