It's the Baylor plan. Some places work 12 hour shifts on sat and sun. and get paid for 36. Some work 12 hrs. on the weekend and an 8 hour shift inthe week. The pay rate is usually higher than for the other nurses but these positions generally do not come with any beneifits. I work 12 hours on days fri. sat and sun. Cuts into my social life but the difference in pay makes up for it. I also get benefits since I work 36 hours. Before I took this position I was working 2 jobs and now I only work this one.
