You don't directly tell him in the form of criticism. Do not make any negative comments about the gift, and act like you're completely happy with it. In the future -- a few months down the road -- comment on how beautiful roses are and tell him they're your favorite kind of flower. This way, he'll know what kind of flower to get you in the future without getting his feelings hurt.

You can say thank you when he gives you any type of flower. However, days before any reason to give flowers comes up you can tell him that your favorite flowers are Roses.

However, like one of the other people on here said you stating that you only like roses makes you seem like a stuck up person. That only likes the gift and not the thought behind the giving.

once you have a romantic relationship, the belief is which you share quite some issues and values in hassle-free, alongside with the potential to speak approximately any and all themes, that impression the relationship. Sexual issues and themes make up a necessary area of any bothered romance, and for this reason would desire to be dealt with without delay earlier it destroys the couple. in this mild and assuming which you and your boyfriend share an potential to communicate, I recommend which you sit down with him( on the main suitable time and temper), enable him be conscious of how lots you like him, and then in simple terms tell him the subject. First , verify the situation isn't the end results of technique or form, or lack or communique and or romance (via fact some couples do no longer communicate approximately what they like sexually and the incontrovertible fact that men and females are different of their responses to sexual stimulation), and the respective unstated desires of your companion. If none of those themes is the reason, then your companion would be greater suitable than satisfied to seek for the reason for the subject and are available across a answer even whether that's Viagra. although, determine you communicate approximately this project with sensitivity and love. I desire you the two the ideal.

Wow. You should really just be thankful he gave you SOMETHING. Don't be so selfish.

My boyfriend never gave me flowers before. He may tomorrow for our Valentine's Anniversary. He may not. I don't care!! I'm just happy he didn't forget and is making time to see me.

Don't be so picky. Or you'll just end up alone.

wow...

you're a bit too selfish. i mean, he did something for you...why not just focus on that?

anyways...
maybe next time he comes over have roses you bought yourself in a vase and mention how beautiful you think they are, and that you saw them at the store and just had to have them.
hopefully, he'll get the hint.
