He's the same dude that luggs my pakages for the last 2 years and I've never tipped him once. I just always figured he's doing his job. Do you tip your UPS guy? If so how much?

Only around the holidays is when my office tips. I know this past year my office gave the mail lady and the UPS guy a $50 gift card to a grocery store. They are always very appreciative every year and continue to give us great service.

Wow, some different opinions on here, I am a mail carrier, And like some here said, I receive many gifts at Christmas time. Those gifts are a token of appreciation for the service that I provide ALL YEAR. There are other occasions when I receive gifts, like this time of year, some customers leave a box of Girl Scout cookies, with a thank you mail lady note. When it is hot in the summer, some customers leave a frosty Pepsi in the mailbox, just a nice surprise, a small gesture that really means a lot to us.

Yes, I do get paid for what I do, and get good benefits also. Additional benefits are risking pipe and letter bombs, anthrax, and being exposed to insane gun toting co-workers, pit bull dogs, and some very obnoxious customers. It is really nice to be appreciated, and to hear "thank you" once in a while, it really makes my day.

Hell no. They make more money than most of us and that's their job. My boss doesn't tip me for finishing my drawings. They have better benefits than most of us too. My husband works as a driver so I know how much they make. The only time he gets something is at Christmas. They give him gift cards for food, movies, Starbucks, etc. 10-25 dollars worth. That's when they really have to bust their buts Christmas time.

It's not necessary but when the holidays come around you might do so. It'd be polite and he'd appreciate it. Or go look in Hallmark they probably have a card for people like that.

No they get a pretty good pay, around the holidays it is good to get them something! Don't tip him it will be in my opinion an insult.
Hope this helped!
