1.Islam- Extremists kill it.
2.Hinduism-Peaceful belief and they speak the truth about life and suffering.
3.Buddhism- Peaceful belief with concepts I agree with.
4.paganism (all forms of paganism)- I agree with most pagans such as wiccans thoughts on nature.
5.polytheism (all forms of polytheism)- Many Gods? I don't see the need for more than one God.
7.Judaism- Why do they need man made rituals to get closer to God? It's the mother religion of Christianity so we have a lot in common.
9.Satanism (both forms of satanism theistic and philosophical)- Most Theistic satanist see Satan as the Bringer Of Light they don't view satan as the bible describes him and they have that freewill to worship him as they please. Philosophical Satanist shouldn't even be called satanist IMO, they are more atheistic than anything else.
10.atheism- Science may have answers to the things we can see but leaves a ? to the things we cannot see and are not of this world.
11.agnosticism - I wish they would have a steady foundation on what they believe and not be so wishy washy. Then again its good to question everything.
14.Taoism- I agree that good health is important and meditation is good but not on their view of God/s.

hehe ok
1. Islam- pious, yet violent and intolerant
2. Hindus- Large size but accepts eastern philosophy as a base so totally lost.
3. Buddhism- same
4. Paganism- nothing good, totally anti-Christ
5. Polytheism- fun but completely of full of humanization.
6. Pantheism- the LSD of beliefs, totally denies good and evil as well as reality.
7. Judaism- The starting point of our God, but rejects Christ.
8-9. lucy/satanism- nothing good, totally anti-Christ.
10&13. atheism/humanism- A good naive focus on the good of mankind and technology, completely lacks foundation for morality and flat our denies anything spiritual.
11. agnostics- In the family of atheism, not much better.
12. freethinkers- (Uknown worldview in whatever you use it) If defined as people that just make up their own path in life and do their own thing, that is no different than how atheists live.
13. Toaism- same as buddhism, eastern junk, denies reality.
*Deism- believes either personal god or higher power created earth and set nature in motion and then left. Good that it recognizes creation, bad that it assumes God doesnt want anything to do with them. (is more like THEY that do not want anything to do with God) They basically state God is unknowable. This was popular around the time of Americas birth but was very-short-lived.
*Nihilism- Belief that there is no God, that life is absurd and meaningless, and the sooner it ends, the better. In the family of atheism.
*Existentialism- Belief that life doesnt have inherant meaning but that meaning was meant to be created by humans, not interpreted through things that have meaning in themselves (like God) Too much like freethinking and atheism.

Most of them I believe are so evil up front that they are ridiculous and I think are easy for people to deny. However Islam perhaps is the WORST out of all because it hijacks the credibility of Judaism and Christianity and twisted it into a false Gospel that is misleading people in the millions!

To me 1, 2, and 3 have bad people but are not as a religion bad. For the good they are peaceful and have many parts that agree with Christianity.

4. I do not know much about. Sorry.
5. These are mostly extinct although I did read something about a group who wanted to worship Zeus and the like again recently. Not sure what this is about because many of the gods were created to explain things like the change of seasons or the rising and setting of the sun, and we have looked, no chariot. So again I guess I would have to say I am not sure about these in the modern world but I would have to wonder if they are not based on a tradition rather than a faith, so would that not make them more a society or culture rather than religion. Sorry if this is in uninformed.
7 good for me would be that it is the basis for Christianity, bad would be sometimes the people who practice this faith focus on traditions like covering mirrors and not wearing shoes after someones death and begin to believe they are part of the religion instead of seeing them as part of their culture.
8 and 9 these are different I understand but from the reading I have done the lines seem to blur depending on the group. Seems to be a more individualized form of belief and one place even said they believe in the deity of self. To me as long as they are not focusing on evil and arcane there doesn't seem to be anything difinitively bad. One website says they are atheistic, so maybe they should be linked with 10
10 I have the biggest problem with this one because it seems to me that it takes a measure of faith to completely NOT believe, and if you are going to have faith about anything why not give God the benefit of the doubt. But I see why there has been such a surge of this particular belief because of evolution being taught in the schools and not being taught as a theory with and opposing theory being taught equally
11 This one I can respect best of all types of non belief because they look for proof then do not deny or accept when it is lacking. Seems the least hypocritical.
12 this is a bundling of atheists and agnostics. I don't see anything new to discuss other than I find it somewhat offensive that in their opinion faith defys intellegence.
13 A little to wishy washy for me. You follow what your consicence says and that is what is right. No firm rules, no basis for rules. Seems like there are a lot of people who would like this since there is no responsibility or consequence. Just go with what feels right, never mind that feelings are subjective to the person feeling them.
14 Read about this one just now. Don't know that much about it. So I will go with no comment for now

Ok so I typed a lot and don't feel like I really answered your question. If was tough, since I do not think there is a black and white good and bad or each religion. I think there are good and bad people who follow all of them, and none of them is consistant with my faith, but there is not a good/bad idea for me where I can do a pros and cons list and compare them. To me this is because religion and the non belief is based on what is inside you, your level of faith and commitment. It is not a political debate. It cannot be accepted on pro and con. Either you agree with them or you don't. All should be treated with respect, but the only way to follow them is to believe in what they stand for. I guess the one problem I would have with some of the choices on the above list is this, even THEY don't know what they stand for or follow, and that makes it hard to consider them a truely formed group. Sorry if this is not what you are looking for. I promise to try to do better next time.

islam--i'm muslim so i'll skip this one

hinduism--
pos--self-control, peacefulness, wisdom
neg--caste system i think

Buddhism--
pos--Right Livelihood - Ones way of livelihood does not harm in any way oneself or others; directly or indirectly
neg--i dont know if there is anything to criticize but i've read that its not a religion really but a philosophy

paganism--
i admit i do not understand the concept of what a pagan really worships. i read up on it and there were different definitions of a pagan but i think it is a polytheist religion....
pos--it is a very old religion; one of the oldest.
neg--i haven't seen anything to criticize. i believe in another monotheistic religion that is my only confliction.

polytheism--
pos--many different religions follow polytheism....The Gods/Goddesses have different qualities and its very different from the Abrahamic concept of God
neg--nothing but i dont believe in it. not that that matters :P

Pantheism--
pos--its an interesting idea that God is everything and I agree somewhat with the idea that God is everywhere and all around
neg--it doesn't give you a set of ethics like other religions but it says we are all connected so what harm you do to another could harm you also. so i think that kind of canceled that out

Judaism--
pos--its the first of the Abrahamic religions and many of the Prophets from my own religion were Jewish
neg--

luceriferianism--
dont know enough to comment

satanism--
pos--they believe that one should no both good and evil so they can be better equipped against evil. at least thats what i think it says
neg--i'm not sure if satan is the diety or not but the concept of satan in my religion he is definitlely not good.

atheism--
pos--use minds instead of relying on something that may or may not be real.
neg--they completely dismiss the idea of God when it still is possible that he exists

agnosticism--
pos--they are open minded
neg--they dont really have a concrete definition of God but maybe that isn't a bad thing

freethinkers--
pos--logical
neg--I believe that we are given a very small portion of the knowledge of the world and are incapable of really understanding it

humanists--
pos--dont rely on God to help them get out of problems
neg--Even if it isn't God himself helping you the idea of God helps you get through your struggles. its important to me at least that even if you are all alone that there is still God that hears you

taoism--
pos--its peaceful
neg--no personal God

i was relying on wikipedia for a lot of this because i didn't know too much about some. if i'm wrong about anything, sorry. and i know this is late but i was trying to read
i hope i didn't offend anyone--again sorry!

I find none of them annoying or wrong. What is wrong with allowing people to believe as they want? Why is that so hard? The positives are that people are happy with their own beliefs, and the negatives are that other people tell them that they're wrong.

with the exception of #7, all listed (or not listed)are false religions, worshipping false gods and teaching the lies of Satan.
those who serve the God Jehovah are serving the only true God of the universe.
that would be the Jews and the true Christians only.
I do not dislike the people of any other religions, but some are much more dangerous than others that are just foolish.

I believe that the Bible is true. I follow Jesus because I want to be with Him in eternity. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the truth and the way and the life, and no one will go to the Father's house except through Him. So select Jesus, if you want to be with Him

But if you do not want to be with Him, all the other ones would be fine by your personal preference.

All those religions/beliefs are excluding the very important person that will grant them eternal life:

"Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son" I John 20:22
