Well, this is for a school assignment, so I need a quote to live by, either one said by someone, from a movie, or a proverb, and I'm sorry, someone I know is already doing "Life is like a box of chocolates" from Forest Gump. I'm thinking, "Dangit!" because I really wanted to do that one, though. But, anyway, all answers are appreiciated, but please don't give me a long list of like 30 quotes.

These quotes are Okaaaaay so far, (I really like the Victor Hugo one!) But, I am not a very "serious" individual. I would like more funny quotes, maybe. Thanks.

These are ones that I live by, okay... more for just enjoyment- but nontheless they are great.

Don't know where this comes from but I like it as it reminds me to keep things simple.
Life is a ribbon; are you tying yours in knots or bows?
Or if you want something a little more meaningful there's again that old quote found on many a gravestone:
Think of me as you pass, as you are now I was once; as I am now so you will be - prepare to follow.

“Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness. It is not attained through self-gratification but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.”
Helen Keller
I hope u like this one. Helen Keller is an absolutely inspirational person. I think anything that she says is 100 times wiser than if someone else said it.

I'm not sure if the wording is 100% correct but:
"When the last great scorer comes to record the final score against your name he will not ask whether you won or lost but if you played the game"
"There's never time to do it right, but there's always time to do it over"
"When in doubt, mumble. When in trouble, delegate"
"It's morally wrong to allow suckers to keep their money"
"Never argue with a fool, people might not know the difference"

Hi there,
I subscribed (free) to a site called www.insightoftheday.com run by Bob Proctor.
Everyday, some motivating quote from someone important/cultured/dead/famous person pops into my inbox and inspires me for the day... might be a good starting point for you too!
