As I understand it, and I must admit I have a limited understanding of Creationism, the existence of the bones goes against the general consensus of creationism and thus must have come from another source, Lucifer. From those that I've talked to it the question of where they came from isn't asked as much as the answer that they're there and they came from him. Of course, in the realm of creationism, God could have put the bones in the earth just to satisfy his sense of humour. Also, since we're taking the old testament here, Satan could have asked god for the bones to put into the earth (see. Book of Job).
