Definitely Vancouver!! It is highly multi-cultural, and while there is a large population of Asians and East Indians, there is about every other country represented as well. Above all, the Vancouver area is absolutely gorgeous, it is among the five most beautiful cities in the world.
Here is a list and links of some of the Vancouver sights to see. Also, there are many language schools in the city as well.
Absolutely gorgeous surroundings, it's nestled between the mountains, and bays/rivers. You can't beat the scenery! It is a large city, but even for all that, it's a wonderful place to live.
There is so much to do here ... water sports, winter sports, Parks, including one of the Largest Urban parks in the world, Museums, an aquarium, good public transportation, and a huge variety of ethnicities and cultures.
Cost of living is a bit high, but it's better if you don't live right downtown.

Your last question first: unlike the USA it is not easy for a visitor without a work permit to find a job in Canada.
Of the 3 cities you mention, Toronto happens to be the world's most multicultural city at present, more so even than New York or Los Angeles, with immigrants from all over the world. Montréal somewhat less so. Vancouver is also an immigrant city but mostly from Asia. Both Toronto and Montréal have small Portuguese-speaking communities. Montréal is the most exciting and cosmopolitan of the 3 cities but most of the people speak French as their usual language although they know English also. Vancouver is the most beautiful of the 3 cities with 1000 metre mountains just on its northern outskirts but mountains ansd lovely forests and lakes are not too far away from Montréal.

It isn't easy to get a job in Canada... but it's worth a try!
Montreal is really fun and cultural and it would be good if you want to learn English as well as french. The province of Quebec tends to be Bloc Quebecois.
Toronto has lots to do and it is incredibly multicultural. It also has areas near by that are beautiful if you go up north a few hours during the summer. However, jobs are pretty hard to find. Oh, and it's basically Liberal when it comes to politics.
Vancouver is really pretty and warmer (usually) so it might be easier for you to adjust. It also has mountains as well as the ocean which is awesome when the weather's good. And BC tends to actually be NDP party. Vancouver also is full of marijuana (and crack downtown) but that can easily be avoided.
When people mention Calgary, I'd say you're better off to go to the other three. I'm not saying Calgary's a bad place, but it's better if you wanted to stay for a longer time. Jobs are pretty good right now, but better for long term. However, that's up to you. Oh, and if you're interested, Alberta is conservative.

Definitely Toronto.
It's the biggest and most exciting. You will have no problems adjusting as their is lots of Brazilians and Latin Americans already here. And if you are a fan of nature, a mere 1.5 hour drive North takes you into Muskoka (ie "Cottage Country") which is amazing.
Do not go to Calgary. Alberta sucks and has Texas-values which would be quite unlike what you are used to.
If you lived in Toronto, you would also be able to see Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec city on your spare time. If you went out west (vancouver, calgary or edmunton), you'd be basically stuck in your city unless you are willing to do some serious travel time

Go with Calgary Alberta. Job market is booming right now (you won't have ANY trouble getting a good job here), it's a great place to live, the Stampede is here in the summer and we are only an hour away from the Rockie Mountains and Banff. It's wonderful.
But really anywhere you pick you will have a great time, just a matter of if you want to live on the coast or not.

Forget Calgary - Come to EDMONTON! Alberta is booming right now so you will have no trouble finding a job. Edmonton is hosting the World Cup Under 21 Soccer this summer assuming you are into soccer and we host the Edmonton Grand Prix (CHAMP cars) in July. We are only 4 hours from the mountains (Jasper National Park) and it is definitely less expensive to live in Edmonton.

I moved to Australia over 10 years in the past, throughout the time of that factor Ive viewed a pair of snakes, some massive spiders and not a exceptional purchase greater it is frightening. human beings indexed here are greater laid decrease back and look comfortable, I agree tho with the guy who reported approximately being on the brink of relatives in an emergency, notwithstanding that would desire to be a small component of your determination. the different individual who thinks that poisonous creature are hiding around each nook, purely waiting to get you, recover from your self mate, it is like asserting going to u . s . a . of america potential you will get shot by utilizing some deranged mass murderer. Australia is staggering, and not in any respect frightening, except you're frightened of sunburn, you purely get on with existence and ignore related to the critters. Now all that being reported, there's a factor of me that should rather want to circulate to Canada, so i'm getting your predicament. Have a trip on the two places formerly you're making your very final determination :)

If you can get a work permit -- sign up with temp agencies, and don't stay in one city. "Is it easy to get a job?" depends on what you can do, really.
Toronto is very 'multi-cultural.' But Vancouver, Ottawa, and Montréal aren't exactly all-white, all-English, either. Alberta possibly a little less so...
If I was you and staying in one city: Toronto. If not, I'd do Toronto-Ottawa-Montréal.
