You don't order one, go to your local BATF office or the website, just put BATF in the search engine. depending on the type of license you wish to obtain cost can be 40 dollars to several hundred. If you ish to obtain a general FFL you will need to also operate a business using that FFL and all local laws a zoning restrictions apply, these vary on where you live and you will have to contact your Head Law Enforcement officer, IE. Sheriff or Chief of the jurisdiction your business will be in. After getting the forms filed it will take a few week to a few months before they approve/deny your application. General you will be approve if you have meet the requirements that are list on the web site and/or forms.

It is getting increasingly more difficult to get one but you still can if you want to. It doesn't cost that much but some of the other forms do. You have to apply for it and some other things are involved. I know you need at least two or more entrances to your home or business, which ever one you will be holding the guns at and you also need an updated police or security alarm system. Otherwise check in with your local firearms dealers and ask how they got theirs.

except you have the money to actual initiate a gun business enterprise, you're dropping time and money to stay with.at present, there is not any such element as a house based section time FFL broking. you will desire to fulfill community, state, and Fed. regulations, and would desire to have a actual place of work enterprise with time-honored business enterprise hours.

It's not hard but it takes a lot of paperwork and background checks and a committment to records keeping. It's also getting more expensive....they don't like "part-timers".

To find a dealer who can do transfers for you, go to one of the website and find the 'Dealer Locator' section.
