sounds like you both need some time to cool off and think about it.
is it something you repeatedly fight about? he's being childish right now- don't fuel the fire by replying.
if you want to get past this and continue the relationship, someone will have to be the bigger person and step up to initiate the apology. it doesn't mean you have to take all the blame for the fight, more like
"it was really stupid for us to get so worked up over ____, next time let's talk about it first so it doesn't get out of hand like this....I love you, sorry if I said anything that hurt you, etc."

this isn't what you pick to hearken to yet i say that if he dosen't experience like being in a relationship then allow him pass take a damage see some human beings and in case you nevertheless have emotions for him after a lengthy time period look him up see if he feels an identical way if he truly loves then you definately he will come again now and again letting pass might want to be troublesome in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to try the bond that both of you've sturdy success accessible

communication is the key to a succesful relationship and if you have that much pride to ruin a four year realtionship then don't even bother. Love is stronger than pride. If you love him then you need to be the bigger man and just call and say i'm sorry then get over it and let it go.

Does it matter who started it,as long as you can move past it and apologize. Be the bigger person, call him, apologize, and try to move on,why destroy four years of a relationship, because of one fight?

I THINK BOTH OF YOU SHOULD JUST APOLOGIZE TO EACH OTHER FOR PUTTING YOURSELF FOR SOMETHING TO INSIGNIFICANT LIKE A "DRUNK" FIGHT. THAT SHOULDNT EVEN BE CONSIDERED A FIGHT.. MY COMMON-LAW HUSBAND AND I ALWAYS "DRUNK" FIGHT, BUT SEE THE GOOD THING IS THAT IN THE MORNING, WE ALWAYS KNOW "WE WERE DRUNK!!" SO TECHNICALLY IT DOESN'T COUNT.. HAHAH LOOK AT IT THAT WAY.
