Alot of people have answered saying that the Bible says the world is 'round'. If I draw a circle on a piece of paper, it's round, but it's still flat.
There is a different between a circle and a SPHERE. The Bible does not say the world is a sphere.
The Bible basically says they world is flat and round, but not a sphere.

Lactantius (245-325 AD) — a Christian convert who believed that the region known as Antipodes, the theoretical place that would on the “other side” of a spherical Earth could not exist because everything there would be upside down. Cosmas Indicopleustes (6th Century) — Also a convert to Christianity, he produced illustrations and documents of the flat Earth based on the literal interpretation of the biblical passage Hebrews 9:1-5, where the writer declared that the “earthly sanctuary” must resemble the ancient tabernacle of Moses. Accordingly, Cosmas drew Earth as a rectangular box covered by a lid that represented the heavens. However, most scholars in the Middle Ages were unable to read Cosmas’ manuscripts until 1706 because they were not translated into Latin, the lingua franca of the Western world. Nicolaus Copernicus mocked Lactantius: Perhaps there will be babblers who claim to be judges of astronomy although completely ignorant of the subject and, badly distorting some passage of Scripture to their purpose, will dare to find fault with my undertaking and censure it. I disregard them even to the extent of despising their criticism as unfounded. For it is not unknown that Lactantius, otherwise an illustrious writer but hardly an astronomer, speaks quite childishly about the earth's shape, when he mocks those who declared that the earth has the form of a globe. Hence scholars need not be surprised if any such persons will likewise ridicule me. Astronomy is written for astronomers.

There are definitely still people who believe the earth is flat. The Flat Earth Society is an organization first based in England and later in Lancaster, California that advocates the belief that the Earth is not a sphere but is flat. No modern scientists or religious groups have published support for this belief. This has exposed the society to much outside ridicule and made it a popular metaphor for dogmatic thinking and unreasoning adherence to tradition, with the term Flat-Earther coming to refer to a person who rejects changes in the scientific consensus, and by extension one who lives in the past.

1) Is it Godly for you to judge scientists? Who gave you that much God-givin-power?

2) And do you really believe that God put people here on earth just for the sole purpose of the sun to revolve around us? (ah - round)

3) You may be going to hell, just because you are afraid. And perhaps for answering your own question with such a scary answer!

Oh, and yes, the world is flat...
Ah, and by the way, I've got this fantastic swamp land for sale in Florida. It's flat there too...

whoa what are you smoking?! 'cause i want some of it!!!
ok i believe in God and the bible but that doesnt mean that science has no credibility. the earth is round if God could create the earth flat why couldn't he create it round too. by the way God never told anyone the world was flat (or round for that matter), so even if u believe it's flat that's also a man-made theory (by ancient scientists!)

Believe it or not, there still is a Flat Earth Society. However, they are not a religious group, so it wouldn't just be Christians who believe the Earth is flat. And as previously stated, the Bible writers understood that the earth is not flat. Many flat earthers also don't believe that we send ships into space, not have we landed on the moon.

The difference between believing in a flat Earth, and believing in Creationism is that the Bible directly claims the creation occurred, but does not directly claim the earth is flat.

Despite the common belief that Columbus proved the world was flat, there were manypeople who believed the world was round long before that.

"I´m mean look around you. Except for mountains, the earth is flat."
-Um, yeah: if you're looking at a miniscule part of it THEN it looks flat. Have you never seen photos or videos taken from space? The earth is round- it's not just science claiming so.
And using your brain doesn't make you evil or worthy of hell- it makes you intelligent. You're using what God gave you.

I sure hope you're a little kid who's just curious about such things and hasn't thought them through....

my dear, I believe God's revelation of Himself. He tells us in His word that the earth is a circle, He told us that He had created other beings besides humans. If it comes to a choice between believing a "scientist" or God and the two are in conflict with each other then I will choose God. After all God created the "scientist" -shall I believe the creature more than the Creator?
