most of the guests at my wedding is going to be baby boomers. i want to play a good mix of fast songs for all of them. any good fast motown songs that i should play 2? or any other fast song suggestions will be helpful! thanks

I am having a friend do the djing and he wants to make some sort of a playlist prior to the reception. we are not having trouble at all coming up with slow stuff. it is the fast stuff. and we want every one to dance at our wedding.

If your DJ or band is professional they should know once you tell them this. If not clue them in. Beatles. Eagles, Rolling Stones, Elvis, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Ray Charles.

And not all fast songs either. A wedding always evokes romantic feelings so, Sam Cooke, Tony Bennet, Nat King Cole, maybe some Big Band. Grandma isn't gonna want to get down to Snoop Dog.
