Every time I turn on CNN and there's footage of 500 brown people wearing turbans, standing in the middle of some bombed-out street somewhere, shaking their AK-47s in the air, and chanting slogans in some goofy-@ss foreign language, the anchorperson always says:

"And this is footage shot earlier today in the Holy City of Mooga Booga Doo Da (or wherever)."

When I picture a "holy city," I picture a city full of devoutly religious people who peacefully go about their business.

Apparently, their version of "holy" differs from mine, eh?

The Middle Eastern Holy cities are thus called because of the history of those places. Some of the Prophets (pbut) were either born in these places, lived there or built places of worship there or were buried there.
If you believe everything you see on CNN, then that means that you are being brainwashed into believing what the media wants you to believe.
