I married the girl I dated from age 17.
Odds are, no it won't last without some "hiccups" in the road. If you were meant to be together I would guess that you will break up for a couple of years and then get back together when you are ready to make that kind of committment.

No.. it's sad... but almost always true. Why?? Because as teenagers we change sooo much before we actually find ourselves, and are ready to be with someone else permanently. Time makes us grow. When I was younger.. I liked a certain type of guy. And, there is no way in heck the same guy could come into my life now, and have a chance. You know.. it's kinda like when you were a kid, you may have hated peas, and now you don't think they are too bad. It's the same thing. We grow, as we get older. Our wants, desires, or needs. When you are a teenager your needs are a lot more simple. When, you become an adult things become more complex. Money.. issues. Job .. issues.. House.. issues... Sex... issues... Trust... issues. And, you need the wisdom that comes with time to be able to deal with these issues... and it's just time that resolves those questions and worries.

I have not seen it happen personally...
Quite frankly most marriages I have seen only last a few years at the maximum...
So I may not be the best person for a positive answer...
I would say I would want to HOPE it would last forever...
But I have never seen it do so yet...

Of course! As long as they have the same values and want the same type of things out of life! I have a few friends and relatives that have been married for a very long time and were "high school sweethearts"

Though not technically "teenage" love, my grandmother was engaged to my grandfather at 19- she married him at 20, and it has lasted 46 yrs. to date. My best wishes.
