Length of college depends on your major and of course how well you do while there.

Lawyer & Psychiologist both take 4 years + residency.

My friends daughter became a Child Psychiolgist and works in a school district. I believe she was in college for 4 years.

The link explains the length of schooling one for phychiatrist other for lawyers. Seems there are things they must do after college.

Hope this answers your question.

well there is a spell checker on this website if you didn't know

but it takes around 6 to 8 years of college to be one of those.
use should also be doing good in high school if you plan to be a lawyer or a psychiatrist. they aren't easy to do.

You can earn a 2 year degree from a Community or Junior College.

You can earn a 4 years Bachelors degree from a College or University.

It's usually another 2 years to earn your Masters degree after you get your Bachelors.

Then another 1.5 to 2 years to earn your Doctorate degree after you earn your masters.

Lawyers go to college for 4 years and then on to law school for another 3 years. Psychiatrists go to college for 4 years and then on to medical school for another 3 years. Both can go for advanced degrees, which take even longer.

You will be in college forever literally with those professions. Even after graduation and after earning your doctorate's degrees, you will find yourself still going to college for refresher courses and to keep things new and up to date. You never stop learning.

about 8 years in a classroom for both, they both also require a lifetime commitment to continuous education because they are always changing fields of practice.

You may have to retake 9th grade spelling, so add another year in there.

At least long enough to learn how to spell college correctly!

I think at least 6 years, depending! Use your spell check. :)
