Hi Midge, I have to say that I liked the tune very much and Greenbaum had a good singing voice, but I never liked the lyric that said `Never bin a sinner,I never sin etc, it always troubled me,other than that I could live with it I suppose.

Yes. It was an early "Christian rock" song. I think it was in the top 10 on the rock charts. I have a copy of it.

No. As a matter of fact - I got into a big fight over that stupid song at graveside funeral I did for a friend of a friend. The girl who died was a biker....and had all these biker friends standing around the grave. Somebody brought out a boom-box and started playing that hideous song....I told the friend that I did not think that song was appropriate at a Christian burial. I left....

Yes. The Kentucky Headhunters did a great version of it.

Even though I'm a Buddhist, I really enjoy that song. It's fun to sing, has good rhythm and is for some reason really catchy. ;)

I think it's one of the oddest songs I know of, but not very much fun to listen to in spite of that fact.

Yes I do, but as a song and not for any spiritual message it contains.
