Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

Probably not, since the Bible where the promise of the resurrection is found, was not written for animals to understand. No resurrections performed in the Bible (The were about 9 or so of them) were performed on anmals. Animals are not given the gift of the capacity to know God - this is evidenced by the fact that animals have no religious rituals. They were also used in sacrifice in the Mosaic law, which would be unbelievably cruel if they were expected to worship God. Also, if all the animalsthat had lived were to be resurrected, there would be no room for comfortable living.
However, species which have recently been made extinct may return, the Dodo for instance.

God has a special reason and place for each of His created beings. Animals, too, are a part of an orderly creation by God. Man, as the highest order of creation, has been given dominion over the animal kingdom (Genesis 1:26-28).
We believe that animals were intended for man's enjoyment and use. The Bible itself does not indicate that there is life after death for animals. It may be that God's purpose for animals is fulfilled on this earth. However, if animals would make us happier in heaven, surely there will be a place for them there.
Some Bible interpreters have called attention to Isaiah's description of the peace of God's future kingdom where he says that "the wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox" (Isaiah 65:25). Heaven will lack nothing that is good and that will bring glory to God.

No. The natural universe and all that comprises it will pass away. Animals are part of the natural environment. Taking an animal out of nature and domesticating it doesn't change it's spiritual status. Humans alone have access to eternal life. When an animal dies, it ceases to exist, period.

When it come to animals, only two of a kind, like in the flood where God drown all the rest of the puppies and kittens.
Heaven is nice and quite, God doesn´t want a bunch of barking dogs and howeling cats. He wants all the attention focused on Him.
