for some reason, mimosas don't sound appetizing when combined with steak. i would choose a dry red wine, preferably somethng like a shiraz or merlot. with dessert, just serve expresso. easy and affordably elegant.

If by mimosa, you mean the drink, champagne and orange juice, it is traditionally served at a brunch. Lighter fare than a heavy steak would be. Breakfast type foods, fruit, soups. A combination of breakfast and lunch.

mimosa is orange juice and champagne (brunch) tiramisu is cake(dessert) where does the steak come in with all that, nice try.
