def start her in gymnastics classes. They provide your child with GREAT motor skills. Gymnasts are proven to have great grades due to their amazing sense of knowing where they are in any position. Studies have shown that gymnastics helps with science. They also learn great displinary skills. I was a gymnast since first grade... i learned how to obey rules and be respectful. I never once went behind my mothers back or betrayed her... i learned amazing skills. If she still is attached to cheer after a year... then enroll her in a pom class... but this way she will have great discipline and motor skills

Dance & Gymnastics is a good idea. Also, check to see if there are any youth football leagues out there for kids. They always have a cheerleading squad too. And they're soooo cute!!!

Dance studios often offer classes in cheerleading. Or a gymnastics program may have them.

start her off with gymnastics, which is close to cheerleading. I was a cheerleader from 6th grade-12th grade, and it's great but it helps to have a background in gymnastics and.or dance first.

Just let her "play it out"....it's something new. If she's still interested in a couple of years, THEN check out tumbling classes.
