During my last year of highschool I moved in with my mom. All my mail went to her house. Then last summer, the year before I was to leave for college, i moved in with my grandma. So i had some mail fowarded there. Mainly credit card statements and college papers. About half way through the summer I moved back in with my dad, so some mail was going there too. Once I moved to college I had my credit card statements go there, and importmant mail go there also. However, I had to drop out of college at semester bc of financial problems. My mom moved in with her fiancee, so now I have mail scattered all over the place. We live in the middle of NO WHERE, and since were snowed in we cant go anywhere. I need to know if theres a website that i can change my address for free bc my credit card is now cancelled. Over the phone is okay too. The United States Postal Services website charges you a dollar which you must pay with a credit card. PLEASE HELP! thanks!

To add to the correct information that the first poster gave, I would fill out one of those free forms for ALL of your addresses.
One from your mom's house to your new address
one from your school to your new address
one from your dad's house to your new address
one from your grandma's house to your new address.
I believe that the post office can only forward for six months, after that any mail still coming to that adress where the forwarding order is expired will go back to sender.
Also, you can look over some of your old bills or on the back of your credit cards and get the toll free phone number to your credit card company. you can call them and get a change of address as some financial documents have 'do not forward' orders on the outside of the envelopes so those are automatically sent back even if you have a current order on file.
I would probably place to forwarding orders in for each of the addresses so that everyone would have a year to know where you have moved to
GOOD LUCK!

OK since no one listened to what you said about not being able to go anywhere... Call your local post office and tell them when they deliver the mail to deliver some of those change of addresses. If you don't get mail where you live (you have to get your mail at a PO Box) then you will have to wait until you can get to the post office. The only place to do that online is with the USPS.

You can change your address for free by going to any post office (wherever you are) and filling out a change of address card. The fee is only for online address changes.

There is no free way online. You have to go into the USPS to do it for free.

You can, however, call any/all accounts and change your address individually with them for free. loans, credit cards, colleges, etc.
