Mesopotamians, I think.
And I believe you forgot "Adam and Steve", the first two homosexuals.

The bible does not say Adam and Eve were the first humans. I'll repeat the chapter & verse from a previous question:
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."
--Genesis 1:27
"the LORD God formed the man (Adam) from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being."
--Genesis 2:7
This man created in chapter 2 was Adam. Notice that God had already created other people in Chapter 1. That's pretty clear, yes?

What I don't get about the Adam & Eve story is that if they were supposed to be the first ones, then where did all the other people come from that they met after they got kicked out of the garden?
Maybe I just need to brush up on my reading, but that one always baffled me.

We don't know. The Garden of Eden was in the present day Middle East, but it doesn't say anything about what race they were in the bible. Maybe that's because we aren't supposed to focus too much on people's race...?

they were the carriers for all the genes/traits needed to form all the races of the world. Maybe they were olived-skinned, but didn't express many traits.
