Are you suggesting that just because the numbers are high, that it's automatically right? People do all kinds of things. They also join the military, convert to Scientology, get tattoos, have kids, and all manner of things, and they do it by the thousands. It's better to look at WHY people behave in certain ways, rather than to assume that because the statistics look good, then it must be right. By the way, many thousands of Americans are also converting to the Jehovah's Witnesses and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints every year. And look at how many people are leaving Islam. The numbers mean that Islam is a fast-growing religion, and nothing more. It's statistical data, not an endorsement one way or the other.

Of course Islam is not a bad religion. Neither is Christianity. The idea is wonderful. The religious leaders are not. Religious leaders take a peaceful loving idea, and turn it into a means for war, deceit, money etc. Just look at what they have done to Christianity. For about 2000 years it has been the major cause of War. Crusades, Holy Inquisition, and on and on. Islam is like all the other religions. A great belief, in the hands of ruthless people who use it as an instument of fear in order to control the masses. It's sad.

There are 300,000,000 Americans. How many of them convert to Christianity every year? How many convert to Judaism? How many abandon religion altogether and become atheists or agnostics? Just because 50,000 people convert to Islam does not mean that Islam is a "good religion". Some Americans think the Earth is flat.

I am an american muslim convert. From when I thought I was atheists and learned I was in actuality agnostic. To becoming muslim. I am 24 now and started converting at 19. All I can say is allah is real, and sometimes I wonder what is the will of most. Nevermind, I do know but it is blasphemous to discuss. So they will tell it better. Anyways, I wish at times people knew who allah was and not what HE created. I think that makes all of the difference.

Peace be upon you and may allah enrich you in bounty in all that you desire. Love ya. MUAH:)

The only people that I know that go around explaining their religion are Jehovah's witnesses. I didn't hear everybody saying that Islam IS a bad religion. It's just one that sometimes supports terrorists and ISLAMIC jihads.

Only closed minded idiots think that. They think that everything they see in the media represents the religion as a whole. I am not part of the religion of Islam... but I have friends and family who is. And they are all wonderful people.

Because (you ignorant idiot) Islam is not a bad religion there are a select few Muslims who make bad choices and their faces are strewn all over the TV and they are the only Muslims that we hear about.

Where are the cold hard facts to this statement?

Yes, people in America convert but not as many as Muslims like to claim. If someone buys a Qur'an or visits a Mosque (if they're allowed) Muslims take this as the person is converting and that's not necessarily true.

Some Muslims love skewing statistics...why is that?

you're not in any respect too youthful to positioned your faith in Jesus Christ. Even to the sons and daughters, He stated, "enable them come to me and do not ward off them..." 15 is unquestionably the right age to understand that you're a sinner and that you opt for a savior. Islam is a faith of salvation through works and has no savior. they don't trust that Jesus become fairly the son of God and that he rose from the lifeless. those are both maximum major Christian beliefs and salvation relies upon on us believing them. there is purely no incorrect way for sinners to be forgiven. that is how God planned it to be ever in view that Adam and Eve first sinned. Islam got here alongside six hundred or so years after the first Christians began spreading the gospel (solid information of Jesus Christ), even as a self-proclaimed prophet Muhammad claimed to receive new revelation concerning to God's way of coping with guy, which heavily contradicted the Bible and (through that factor) the nicely-conventional Christian faith. Muhammad become between the pretend prophets that the scriptures warned would come: "The Spirit obviously says that in latter days, some will fall removed from the religion and save on with deceptive spirits and doctrines taught through demons." (a million Timothy 4:a million) "there'll be pretend instructors between you, giving heed to detrimental heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord that offered them (paid for his or her sins)" (2d Peter 2:a million). inspire and pray on your chum. She would opt for it. Yours in Christ, Nick
