dont worry about this, older dogs have a large tendency to be crotchety and dont like to play unless it is their idea. my cockapoo and chihuahua were the same way until my cockapoo died at the ripe old age of 19. it is just the way they behave, i wouldnt worry unless there is an active agreesion and tendencies to violence.

Chihuahuas have been bred and taught to think they are small people. Therefore, they are very fussy and only want human attention, not dog attention. Chis very rarely get along with other dogs.

Dogs have personalities just like people do. Sometimes they like each other and sometimes they don't. You can't force a dog to like another.
As long as no fighting breaks out then you will have to accept that they won't be best friends. If they truly begin to fight then...well...I just hope that doesn't happen.
Good luck!

Chihuahuas do better with their own kind, than they do with other dogs.
