I don't know where you got the "9,000 year" date, but that's incorrect. The date is more likely based upon faulty carbon dating of ancient artifacts, plus the evolutionist's preconceived bias that modern human history began around 10,000 years ago.
The fact is, if the Flood occurred around 4400 years ago, then Hinduism would have had to originate after that time. Even the Chinese have a Flood legend virtually identical to the Biblical account, called "The Hai Quing Classic". When people got off the ark and migrated outward from Turkey, some migrated east and populated China and India. Hinduism would have developed only after enough generations had passed that they had forgotten the ONE God who brought them through the Flood in the first place.

I don't think there's much evidence for either assertion. The earth is much, much older, and Hinduism (in any form we'd recognise today) several thousand years younger.
