Well, you should shampoo the color out but if you mean wash your hair when you go home no don't do that wait a few days if possible. Reds tend to fade faster than many other colors in case you are red. Also there are many more gentle products for color treated hair.

Yes because the oil will not act as a barrier for the coloring. I don't know if the color stays in longer. Use health store coloring $10.00 on the market.

People are getting cancer from coloring their hair.

Yes. Don't wash it the same day, if you can go 2 or 3 days. This allows the color to really develope.

I don't think you are supposed to wash your hair on the same day you get it colored in the first place. I never have.

Yes the color will get to set better and you shouldn't wash your hair right after getting it colored anyway, it could damage it further.

Yes, it will last longer and your hair will end up being healtier, too. Your natural oils help protect your hair when you color it.

Another helpful thing is to NOT use any styling products (gel, mousse, etc.) the day before or of your haircolor. It will also help your color stay longer.

no. The color lasts long if you wash it right after you color it. Washing it gets all the chemicals out that break down the coloring, cause the color to last long.
