that is a nice inquirery, to myself love is an emotional response that our spirits are constantly trying to explore. Love is what fuels the emotions within us, love is the main source of why we as human beings do anything. Even when we know that we may or may not depending on the individual be doing or saying the right thing to ourselves and each other.
Love is cautious
Love is kind
Love allows you to make mistakes an forgives
Love makes men and women into children again sometimes the other way around.
Love makes us happy
Loves makes us sad
Love makes us wish for things that we never knew we had
Love makes it everything brand new
Then turns everything into energy for the soul
Love makes living worthwhile
An it is made for everyone and fits us all!
That makes me want love in my life everyday including the paths of love that make me crazy, I need love in my life. You never know when or where it will happen but deep down you are so glad when you feel it there it is all around us it is in us we only have to open ourselves up to it...LOVE makes us it can also feel empty but when we let it go inside of us that is it, we can never lose it again...it is a nice piece of our souls I feel we should hang onto cherish and nuturer.
Wishing you a happy time with love, don't let yourself go through this whole lifetime without it try it at least once my friend!

Love is being so close to someone that you share all of their joy and their pain and when they hurt it hurts you too. Love is being willing to do anything for someone. Love is when the most perfect place in the world is resting your head on your lover's shoulder. Love is having someone to come home to at the end of the day who makes everything all right. Love is knowing everything about a person and not just accepting the things about them that are silly or weird or even bad but actually loving those things, too, because they're part of what makes that person who they are. And love is knowing that this person feels exactly the same way about you.

Love is a choice. Yes, it starts off as a feeling, but than it grows into something deeper. It goes past being an abstract noun, that we are constantly trying to describe, and becomes an action that we are striving to do. Love is sacrifice, love is giving, love is caring, love does not boast, it is not prideful, it is compassion. Love is when everything else around you falls, you still have love to hold on to. Hope this helped!

Love is babies being born.
Love is a dog chasing its tail.
Love is the wind in your hair.
Love is warming your cold hands over a fire.
Love is a starry night.
Love is your mother smiling at you.
Love is children playing on a swing.
Love is clouds shaped like alligators.
My point is, love isn't always about two people. You can find love almost anywhere, if you let yourself. I'm sick of hearing people say that love doesn't exist, or that it "sucks" or whatever... find something to love. Like maybe... your life. Even if you don't have a sig other. There's always something about your life to love.

My definition of love:
When you think about someone ALL THE TIME
When you long to see and be with this person
When you trust someone completely
When you hold meaningless conversations for hours and hours
When you sit and just stare at eachother and have a wonderful time doing just that
When you complete their sentences and know exactly what they feel by the expression on their face
When you would do anything in the world just to make them smile
When you can not imagine life with out them
THAT my friend is when you kow you're truly in love!

I feel really bad right now, because I was going to say "baby don't hurt me don't hurt me no more" and I thought I was really clever for thinking of it, but then I got on here and like 8 people had already said it. So I guess I'll just take a stab at one of the most difficult questions to answer ever. I think loving someone means valuing their needs and feelings above your own. To me it's just that simple - what can I say, I'm a simple person.

Love is an action, not a feeling. It is a verb. The feeling is called passion or lust. When you "love" someone, you are doing for that someone or "getting out of yourself" for the benefit of another. It has absolutely nothing to do w/ what's in your heart. That is one reason the divorce rate is so high(among many). That passionate feeling goes away and they wonder where the "love"is. It was never there in the first place.

in the past 3 days this question has been posted like 25 times. and i will put the same answer for this question as i have the others. if any of us knew the "exact" definition of what love is we would all know by now. and NO, i am not single or in a bad relationship. as a matter of fact i feel like the happiest woman in the world with my husband. each person has their own definition i guess, so figure it out.

when you love someone, your heart beats a little bit faster when you see them and you have an uncontrollable smile you can't get rid of. you long to touch them and be near them 24-7 and even thats not enough. in your eyes this person can do no wrong, even if your friends don't like them. they make you feel complete as if you two are pieces of a puzzle and you just fit together. It's the best feeling in the whole world and if you are lucky enough to find it don't let it go. put that person first in your life okay?
