Basically I have had my tongue pierced for over 7 years. I never ever had a problem. I decided to take it out and get rid of it. I waited 7 days then changed my mind and shoved the barbel back through. YUP BAD idea! I think it was nearly healed and i really had to use some force. It kinda hurt for a few days so i again decided to take it out. Now i have noticed a small ball like feeling inside my tongue where it was pierced. It doesnt hurt or anything just feels kinda odd when i rub it with my teeth. I dont think i had this the first time i took the barbel out. So whats the deal will it go away?

You injured your tongue. First by having the tongue pierced in the first place, and them forcing it back in when it was almost healed. Please keep it out and let it heal. Use some warm salt water and swish it around a few times a day. That will really help it heal. Yes, the bump will go away. The tongue is one of the fast-healing parts of our bodies.

When you shoved the barbell back in you tore the muscle tissues. What you are feeling is scar tissue. Chances are likely that the slight infection helped create the scar and it is also very likely that it won't go away all the way, but will probably get a little smaller.

That sounds familiar. I did the same thing once. When I had it repierced (I didn't do it myself), the guy explained to me that when the barbell is removed it's replaced with scar tissue that's much harder than the original... tongue, I guess.

Anyway, when you do it AGAIN, it just gets harder. I took mine out for the last time about 7 years ago, and I've still got that "ball". I don't think you have anything to worry about, but I doubt it'll go away.

I wouldn't take any chances. Tongue piercings can be extremely dangerous and some infections can lead to death. The mouth is moist and full of bacteria, and the tongue has major blood vessels ideal for spreading infection to the brain and elsewhere. This can disfigure or kill you. It could be scar tissue you feel. You may want to make a visit to your doctor to make sure. Sometimes when removing a tongue ring food can deposit inside the hole and become infected. If it doesn't hurt, then I would guess it is the scar tissue.

It sounds like it could be scar tissue forming in your tongue. It happens with piercings sometimes. I don't know what would make you fool with it like that, especially since the human mouth has so much bacteria and food in it. You probably should see a doctor.

it isn't infected and should go away but damn you heal quick because I have had my tongue pierced for 7 years took it out for 11 months and it went back in with a little force but didn't hurt at all.

Take it back out and leave it out.If you've had it 7 years you should be old enough to realize that barbels don't belong in an adult's tongue.

Could be scar tissue since it was starting to heal and then you shoved it back through.

Had the same thing. It's scare tissue that will eventually over time go away. Nothing to worry about.
