You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

I have only been using it for about 6-7 months. I love it, it works for me...most the time. It doesn't work for me when I'm extremely stressed out or I eat some really bad (fried or greasy). I don't think I would say that it doesn't work...the stress and diet is my fault, not proactiv. Or maybe you are over using the product...washing your face too much can take away oil/moisture that your face needs, so it produces more oil/moisture which would be too much and make you break out. Just take a look at how you are eating and washing and try to relax if you have a lot of stress. Good luck!

i have used Proactiv for about 3 months now. i imagine it particularly works large. i did not have undesirable pimples or something, only your commonly used problem spots (T zone, nostril, and chin). I particularly a lot continuously had a pimple someplace. by technique of the time i might want to get one below administration yet another might want to pop up. I replaced to Proactiv and that i love it. it really is a touch more desirable time eating (3 products two times an afternoon), yet in case you may get in the habit of it, that's ok. the first month replaced into frustrating. My face looked as if it would interrupt out more desirable, probably because the stuff replaced into easily operating. My face also dried out for the first 3 weeks or so, yet I later discovered out after easily interpreting all that stuff they provide you with that i replaced into making use of too many of the repairing lotion. besides, my advice is do it. i love the product. i have not had a pimple in probably over a month, and if one does pop up it's going to pass away in about 2-3 days as against per week or so like mine used to.

is it your time of the month, or your under a lot of pressure? if not, it could be your acne isn't being stopped by proactive anymore. Try using something else for about a month, and then use proavtive again. It should work. If not go to a dermotologist, they'll give you something similar, that should work.

Just like anything your skin builds up a tolerance for products used on it after a period of time , the same thing happened to me using the same product. You need to find something else, I used Neutrogena products and alternate the two products. Good luck, this is what worked for me.

Same thing happened to me. I ended giving up on the product because I was allergic. Go to Revita Seaweed soap $3.00 at health store. Will clear up your skin. Use good moisturizer

maybe you need to switch to something new, Look up Murad Online and check out that line of skincare products, I've used it and it works well especially if you but the whole set of face wash, exfoliator, moisturizer and spot treatment, Another good face wash is by Orgins and Is called "Checks and Balances"
