Simple, because we believe that there is only One God. Those who say that the Christian God or the God of the Jews is different than the Islamic God are really saying that perhaps there is more than one God. Think about it.

If you believe in a monotheistic faith, then you believe in One All powerful Being. If you say that there is another Being that is All Powerful then you cannot call yourself monotheistic.

You can differ about God's attributes, you can differ about history, you can differ about theology. But if you believe in One God then how can there be more than One God. So if there is a God and if you believe in One then He is the same for muslims, jews or christians. You might differ on what He teaches, but that is an entirely different matter.

If you consider approximately it, every person is aware of what's well. There is not plenty of dialogue approximately that. If any one hits me, I realize that is no longer well. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all realize the change among what's well and what isn't. Jews used to have a position to sacrifice after they did matters that weren't well. Muslims in no way relatively had that. Christians have Christ, however nonetheless think that doing unhealthy ruins their dating with God. So each person has that during normal. They all think iff they do unhealthy matters, God does not wish a dating with them, so that they blame the unhealthy matters on different persons. They deal with different persons like God does not wish a dating with them and so they do not both and the divisions are the influence. God is one, no longer divided; he's the identical God. The concern isn't with God, however with guys. The Christians don't seem to be conscious of God's provision for unhealthy. God offered baptism into Jesus' dying. If a individual is baptized he's useless and can't do whatever. This is intricate to think considering that it's unseen, no longer noticeable, non secular. Others see the unhealthy. The individual sees the unhealthy, however neither can see that he's "useless" considering that it's not noticeable. Faith in baptism is invisible. Who believes in what they can't see? If a individual is baptized into Jesus Christ's resurrection, God has already judged him no longer invaluable of dying, however that's unseen. People don't respect oneness, however divisions.

Muslims generally consider Mohammed to have been a prophet along the lines of the Jewish tradition. So, they would say that Mohammed produced a new revelation about the God of the Jewish faith, much as Christians would say that Jesus did that for them. As a result, it could be said that all three worship the same God, though some might see it differently.

Islam borrows from Judeo-christian history. But then again, it's all up to interpretation. This exists in all three religions. If you take the bible at face value, it says some pretty wild things. If you do the same for the quran, it paints muslims in a pretty ugly light.

it also says he sent the books (bible and torah). How is this contradicting that the judeo and christian God is the same? Muslims believe that the Quran is the last book from God. They dont deny that the Torah and Bible were sent from God also. That God is the same God we call Allah. God is a general term. It can be pluralized or changed in meaning. Allah means "the God". it cant be changed.

seems rather obvious that Muslims would feel they believe in the same god as Christians and Jews, for the same reason christians believe they follow the same god as Jews.

the funny part is that if you compare certain attributes, all 3 are quite different. if you compare others, the jewish and muslim ones are extremely similar. (like sharing the absolute one-ness nature, where christianity does not rate that attribute as signifigantly, and is hypocritical about some others.

before I start, i want to address that the word Islam means the submission to the will of god. In regard to ur question Muslim believe that god have send so many messengers to guide humanity, like Ibrahim, moses, Jesus and Mohammad ( peace be upon all of them). but people over time corrupt the message of god and start to worship things other than him. for instance Muslims believe that the true followers of Jesus were Muslims because they believe in the one god and knew that Jesus is messenger of god ( not his son), but later people starting adding and subtracting verses from the bible until there was so many versions of the bible. the bible was not written until 300yrs after the death of Christ, which gives it a greater chance for it to be corrupted. The same pretty much apply to Judaism, they used the word of god for there own purpose to make them selves the chosen ones among humanity and thats one of the reasons why they tried to kill Jesus ( peace be upon him), in the contrary Muslims believe that moses ( peace be upon him) also was a messenger of god and him and are his followers were Muslims, because they believe in the oneness of god and his true message. In essence Muslims believe that the god of Jesus and moses was and still Allah, and he is indeed the god of all creation. and just to correct you information most of the " mullah" and scholars of Islam tend to modest in their lives ( off course u will have people in all religions that would use the name of the religion to do immoral acts). also Islam is the fastest growing religion in the US, and we Muslims have nothing to hide, our Quran is printed is all languages, because we believe this is our duty to guide the people to REAL word of GOD ( the Quran) a book that have not been corrupted since it was revealed. there is more than 10 million people who memorize it word by word and letter by letter, and there is only one and ONLY version of the original text in Arabic. I hope this would answer ur question

they claim allah was the God of abraham and all thge prophets were muslim. it seems a bit odd to me and I know the quran is not from Jesus as it denies he is God it is not from the God of abraham as God showed abrham it would be his ( God's) sone who would be sacrificed for sin. did not abraham tell isaac on the way to the sacrifice God would provide a lamb and he did. Jesus is the lamb of God.

They are not the same God.
