The nouth heals in a few days and besides oral numbing agents such as ambesol and things like that there is not much you can do .. but to speed up healing rinse your mouth with warm water mixed with salt.. you will be amazed at how mauch faster it will heal if you do that

The mouth heals pretty fast. A couple of days and it will be much better.

In the meantime, you can get some Cloraspetic spray. It has a numbing ingredient that will help. It's just not going to taste very good with food.

Cool your mouth with ice for 20 minutes. Let it warm up normally. Repeat as needed. Keep your mouth clean, including your teeth.

don't eat hard foods such as chicken or hamburgers, instead drink chicken broth or anything that is soft like cooked vegetables until the roof of your mouth is totally healed.

There's really not much you can do for this. I've done it many times and it's just flat painful. It should go away within a week.
