You do not have to belong to anything to know right from wrong if you are smart enough...a lot of right and wrongs are just common sense...

Speaking from a Christian standpoint, pretty much all Christians I know knew the difference between right and wrong before they became Christians (as I think all people do, regardless of religions affiliation). Some just didn't always choose what was right. But many of them feel that God gives them strength and guidance to choose what is right when sometimes it is so much easier to choose what is wrong.
Being a Christian isn't just about knowing wrong from right though. It's about having a personal relationship with the Creator of the universe who loves us more than anything.

I don't belong to a religion...I am a child of God. I don't find anything sad about that! In fact all that is right and wrong, good and bad, up and down and all around is from God. He gives all of us the Holy Bible to be able to study and understand His word.
Try reading the Purpose Driven Life and start the debate of God within yourself. You'll never regret making the effort!

religion know....christ yes. Killling stealing raping ect are sins that people see that everybody can accept as wrong. The scriptures say that know man is without sin....did you know that jealousy is a sin, impure thought is a sin...i dont know about you but I canr say that I have never wanted something someone else had or not had impure thoughts...thats the reason for christ not to initiate the diffrence in right and wrong but to forgive the wrongs we ALL WILL make.

Religion is usually one large hate group, used by the masses to lend support for any particular belief held outside of religion. Peaceful people can find bible verses that dictate peace, but violent people can do the same. I am a moral person, I am also an atheist. Perhaps my atheism is supported by my morality as well as my intelligence, or perhaps it is the reverse.

Nope, but it is helpful for a lot of people. Maybe some do think they "need" it to know the difference, but others choose a religion to help them study scripture, and find an outlet for giving of themselves. Religion is not even neccesary for salvation, but for some of us we find strength in our religion.

Let me put it to you this way ......If you break God's Commandment's, that is called LAWLESSNESS!.....sinning against God........ANYONE who breaks God's laws continually and never sincerely repents and asks forgiveness of their sins, is considered by God to be a murderer, a liar, a thief, and an adulterer............They will never see the Kingdom of God!! They will surly perish if they do not Come to the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation.......I'm not making this up.....I tell you the Gospel truth....it's in the Bible. Look it up.

They need religion as a comfort thought that there is something after we die, and that the people who live good lives are rewarded in the afterwards, and the evil people get what they deserve in the end.
