I'm a skinny dude, not buff or anything.
but i've noticed that girls don't stare at buff or toned men if one happens to walk by them. they just look at them once, and that's it. why's that?
don't girls like muscular men?

I like men who are in shape and healthy. I don't really care for someone who is THAT tied to working out. I once dated a guy who was a body builder. I met him during his off time when he was big, but not huge. Once he got back into serious working out, it was a turn off both physically (he was just toooo big) and mentally because that was the only place his focus was at. That is fine if you are okay with it...I just wasn't, and I wasn't aware of how it would be until it happened.

That's honestly not at all why women don't prefer muscular men, you could not be more wrong. I think you're just trying to make yourself feel better. It truly is a preference thing. I'm not attracted to muscular men because I'm just not, I never have been. I don't find bulging muscles to be attractive in any way, I prefer a man to be not fat, but to have some meat on his bones. It has nothing to do with the way I feel about myself, I am very confident and even if my fiance was a muscular guy- I wouldn't be scared of other women because he's with me and not them. I'm sure there are plenty of women who enjoy muscles, but don't be so dense to think if they don't it's because of an insecurity.

This girl doesn't. I like my men to be natural. All those muscles make me feel, well like the guy is on steroids and is just pumped up. He is probably more interested in how he looks than how I look. I take a long time getting dolled up so my man is proud of me. And it is all a waste if the guy is always looking at himself in a mirror

Taste in men varies from woman to woman. Some like muscular men, some don't. Personally I just like my guy to be in a good, healthy shape. Too much muscle can just be weird.

a guy with muscles is all about themselves and are never going to pay attention to any girl it's all about them, as suppost to a normal guy that can be romantic and into you its much better, beside a muscular guy always wants more girls

Toned is nice, but the bulging veins overly muscular super tan baby oiled type is not attractive to me. My husband is tall and slim, and very sexy.

Girls are troublesome.
If he is hot we look twice. Muscular only once. We are not like guys we don't keep on looking.

I don't find a lot of muscles attractive... I'm usually attracted to the skinny guy.
