i just bought a humidor and im having trouble getting it to stay above 60%. is there anyone who can suggest how to get my humidor to stay at least 60 or above. ive wiped down the inside, ive put solution in the humifier twice. im thinking its the cold whether and the fact that my house is just making it to 70 degrees. what do you think? any help

Very good answers by the other guy.
If you're using an analog hygrometer get rid of it. (If it has a dial and isn't electronic it's analog.) Unless it's a really expensive one it's probably nowhere near what the actual humidity is.
Depending on the size humidor you have you will probably need more than one humidification unit. I like to use a mixture of the CLEAR gel crystals and the floral foam (green stuff). I don't like to use cigar juice (propylene glycol, it's the same stuff that's in some antifreezes), I use only DI water from a friend of mine that works as a chemist. However you can use distilled water, not spring water. The minerals in the spring water will clog your humidification units.
Lastly, due to the lower temps and MUCH lower humidity during winter you may find that you'll need to use WAY much more water and humidification units to keep the humidity up.

Get a second one of those moisterizers things in there and make sure they stay filled.

You can also try another hygrometer-thing. Maybe yours isn't accurate.
