You can get some fiber suppliment pills that'll help regulate you. They might even help you so you don't have to go on a liquid diet. Drink lots of water. Get enough exercise like a 30 minute walk a day.

I would keep eating a solid food diet and just increase you fiber. Bran muffins, pears, wheat bread, bran cereals etc...

In the meantime you can try drinking some prune juice.

Also, I went to the doctor with my son a while ago because he was having some problems too and the doctor recommended using mineral oil. Which you can get at any pharmacy. That might work for you too. All you do is add it to a drink or food.

But I wouldn't go on a liquid diet because that might only resolve it for the time being and once you start eathing again it'll happen all over again.

Liquid diets will not help you with your problems in the bathroom, it will only cause your body to lose important nutrients from eating the foods. Blending foods can cause them to loose some of the vitamins and important nutrients they have which can cause your body to be constipated. Try a enema, its really simple to do, they recommend them for pregnant women, so its totally safe to use, without Dr's supervision. An enema helps to releive constipation and can be bought over the counter at any drug store. If the enema doesn't work go to the Dr if your bathroom problem doesn't go away. Sometime it could be a bigger problem like a small twist in your GI tract.

why would you want to do some thing this drastic

because once you start eating solid foods again the constipation is just going to happen all over again
