For white, full bodied, I like La Crema
Chardonnay (really buttery) for about $26.

For white, light in body, I like Bonny Doon Pacific Rim Chenin Blanc ($12) and Conundrum California White Table Wine ($22)

For red, full bodied, I like Liberty School Cab ($18)

For red, light in body, I like Wild Horse Pinot Noir($20)

I hope this helps!

American dollars? Canadian? Australian? Hong Kong? Whatever; at the present time there is general consensus among wine critics, several of whom have written thus, that the world's best volume-produced red wine for the money is the Concha y Toro Casilleiro del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon. It sells for $ 6 - $ 9 in the USA, $ 11 - $ 14 in Canada (with its high alcohol taxes), $ 8 - $ 11 Australian.

As for white I am unaware of a general consensus, although an article I read a couple of years ago picked Torres Vina Sol. The best
I ever tasted as an appellation was Okanagan Valley pinot gris.

i'm allergic to the sulfites that it is all crimson wines and a few White wines - so I could flow with a white wine (without the sulfites - the label we could me comprehend) familiar rule of direction is crimson wine with meat and WHITE wine with Fish or Poltry and something is going with Pasta. i like Yellowtail

Best is relative, but here's two contenders: Ravenswood Dickerson Zinfindel and Rombauer Chardonnay. Both are about $30 and worth it. Salud!
