It depends...
Curly, straight, wavy??? You need LOTS AND LOTS of conditioner. Start with a good shampoo for frizzy hair. There are a lot of great inexpensive things out now. Try Suave first. It is just as good I have found and about 1/25 the price. I have tried it all and i think it is just as good.

go to a barber / hair stylist who works on hair. ask them for advice. its free (smile)
try a hair supply store they have diff items that will help with frizz.
do you get your hair cut regularly? they have shampoo/conditioners for frizzy hair, and hair care just for frizz.

all you have to do is put some jell or jam on it, and put it in a pony tail
