I just moved into an apt. with a friend. I need a bed. I really cant afford one at the moment. Does any one know of any one that has a gently used bed that they dont need any more?

I just moved in with my friend, and I cant afford to buy a bed, new or used.............
I live in the ATL area and Im looking for a gently used BED(mattress, frame, and box spring) Does any one know of any one thats has one they dont need any more?

Try freecycle or craigs list in your area. Around here people are trying to get rid of mattresses all the time when they get new ones, you just have to pick it up.

First off, where do you live? Have you tried a family member, friend of a friend, distant relative, etc. It may be cheaper than this site. You would probably have to pay more than the bed is worth!!!

Try garage sales, habitat for humanity. There are lots of places you can check around to get one. You can always super febreeze and get a mattress pad/cover for it as long as you can find one thats stainless and odorless.

Check your local paper. Sometimes they have a free section for items that are still in good condition.

Goodwill stores. Dumpsters behind furniture stores and mom n dad.Sounds to me like you should make mom n dad the first stop.
