Depends on the type of Olive Oil you use. EV OO has a more unique, olive taste while standard or light has a lighter taste...Great Baking!

Not sure about that, but I wouldn't think that there'd be a real difference in taste unless you use a lot of it. Another tip: You could use aluminum foil in place of both. Just line the baking pan and be sure there is no breakage in the foil before you pour the batter in. Remove the cake from the pan by the edges of the foil and allow the cake to cool completely before flipping it upside down (I place it on a wooden cutting board, but you can use any surface), then peel the foil off carefully. It's a very simple strategy that leaves no mess or residue, and it works great for me.

Olive oil is the only oil I buy and everything from brownies to muffins will be fine.

I wouls not bake with olive oil. It will leave an after taste.

always use extra virgin olive oil first cold press

use lighter flavor if you can find it for this kind of thing

should taste OK tho some olive oils are a bit olivey tasting

We did it once, because we ran out of "vegetable oil", and they tasted OK. It was even extra-virgin oil, and they didn't taste like olive oil.

you could, but it would taste bad and the muffin would crumble. the butter is used for taste and helps glue the muffin together. the only substitute would be margarine...that still wouldn't taste as good!
