I'm hoping to get a wedding dress for under £150 so I can spend more on my honeymoon and I know the dresses they did were around £60.

Also it was only in selected stores so I wondered if there were any in the merseyside area?

they do but its only in certain stores and they only have a couple of different dress styles. You could try oxfam they have special wedding shops again only in certain places but they sell new and used dresses you might get a bargain. Bhs have lovely dresses within your price range also try monsoon they have some nice ones. Debenhams have some again they only have a couple of different styles. Failing that try ebay.
I had this problem when i got married and i ended up hiring one for £100 including veil and tiara, maybe you could look into that.
Here are some links to high street stores that sell dresses, good luck.

When I was after bridesmaid shoes for my daughters I was told that they had the bridal range at the ASDA near the Trafford Centre Manchester. I went to about 5 other stores before finding out that their bridal range is in a select few stores. I have just had a look on their website and there is no mention of stores with the bridal range. I think it would be best to contact them via the website just to be sure. It will save you driving round to lots of ASDAS! BHS in Manchester have a lovely bridal range at very reasonable prices, worth taking a look. Have a lovely day when you tie the knot! x

How about ebay.co.uk? Find some dresses in your area so you can try them on first....I would hope that they would allow you to do that. You could get a really nice dress for steal.

Congratulations and good luck!

I think the gift card to the store she's registerd at is a great idea. I think another possibility could be a gift certificate to a local spa that she likes - that way she could pamper herself before the big day.
