Thank you for the recipes. I did in fact mean recipe. I just wasn't paying attention to what I was wrighting. Sorry! However, those recipes are for Muddy Buddies not Puppy Chow. Puppy Chow is the stuff that is carmelie and has coconut in it. Does anyone know the recipe for that stuff?

A large bowl (an CLEAN ice cream pail)
A microwave able bowl
A microwave
1 cup measuring cup
1/2 cup measuring cup
1/4 cup measuring cup
A teaspoon measuring spoon
A long instrument to stir
If desired, you may need wax paper to lay puppy chow on to cool.

A box of Chex (any variety, but I prefer Corn)
One package (6 oz.) of Nestle Tollhouse semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 cup)
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

To make:

Pour 9 cups of Chex cereal into the pail, set it aside. Microwave chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine or butter in the microwave able bowl on high for 1 minute, then stir. Then microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in the vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over Chex cereal in pail, stir until all individual Chex are covered. Add powdered sugar to the Chex mixture, place lid on ice cream pail and shake. Check mixture to make sure that all pieces are evenly coated and they are ready to eat. Mixture may be hot and messy at this point, if desired, spread Chex mix on waxed paper too cool. This makes about 9 cups of puppy chow.

In a large sauce pan, melt together butter, peanut butter, and chocolate chips.
Stir until all is evenly distributed and all is completely melted.
Measure out chex into a large bowl.
Pour chocolate mixture over chex and fold until all the chex are completely covered in the chocolate mixture.
Put powdered sugar into large paper bag.
Put chex into the bag with the sugar and shake until all chex are covered.
Add more sugar as needed.
