Its amazing, you can show a creationist a fossil that may be hundreds of thousands years old and they still believe in their own ideals. I dont mean to cause offence to anyone but I seem to be getting a lot of vulgar replys back, if you havent got anything intelligent to add just dont leave anything

Creationist's, Christian's, Evolutionist's....my god, what a mess. Let's just look at the facts. Ok, you got a fossil. Of what? Something that existed billions of years ago. Most christian religions will hold that God made the world in six days etc. What is completely mind boggling is that they expect that a Day to God is 24 hours. A day didn't even become 24 hours until three thousand years ago! Now, six days to God...an eternity? Evolutionists say that everything evovled. First it was a cherry, then it became a volkswagen etc. But paradoxically, scientists do not have a shred of proof of this. They have fossils of birds. But they do not have anything that proves that this bird became this horse. Everything appeared on the planet according to it's kind. And it is interesting that 90 percent of all animal life was already Extinct before humans ever made the picture. So, there must have been a huge variety, I mean just massive, before we appeared. So, maybe, some animal that looked like a horse, maybe even in the horse family, was just another kind. Darwin himself, when he wrote Origin of the Species (epiloge) that his theory was based on nothing more than a few sample fossils. He stated that if in the future we do not find any evidence to support evolution, then he was wrong. I am searching every known source to find out what is really going on here, and what I find is that half the scientists of the world do not agree with the other half! Look it up. It will baffle you.

Why oh why is it OK to knock the US all the time???
You are communicating on equipment that was developed in the US - Thankyou.
You are living under a curtain of peace and prosperity - which is only here because the US saved our hide in WW2, and was strong enough to control the expansion of the Totalitarian Communist Regimes of the 50's 60's and 70's
You take every day technology for granted that was largly developed in the cold war and space race eras by US www/ internet for example - google the most sucessful search engine on the net is a US product. The dollar is the only truly global currency - you could be in any place on the planet and the chances are the dollar would be recognised as currency and you would get a rate for it - Get the fork over yourself and embrace your friend - not find their faults all the time!!!

and many many

It is not only Americans who hold this concept. I believe in many ways it stems from fear. What if there is no God what do we do then. I suppose many people's lives would become meaningless. Most people are never satisfied with the here and now, there has always got to be something better. I am astounded by the smugness of humanity, especially a lot of Christians. I am important in the eyes of God but not the poor little African kid who is dying of starvation because of my greed. We all hold responsibility for our actions, I forget who said it but it was about when good people stand by and do nothing.

I wouldn't call it ignorant. Most scientists who believe in evolution theories also believe god was ultimately the force behind it. Very few people believe creation in the bible literally. Even the Vatican calls Genesis an allegorical story. I consider myself an athiest because I believe the religions of the world were all superstitious stories created by men to explain things they don't understand. But, that doesn't mean we are the only intelligence in the universe.

I'm sick of seeing this question over and over. I don't get it, I don't go bashing you because you don't believe in Creationism! People think Christians are the ones always judging people, but I've seen more nasty comments directed at Christians than by them. Yes, I believe that in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Maybe it has evolved since then, but I think He started it all. This is supposed to be a Godly nation (that's how it began) so I don't understand why people are so surprised at those who believe in God. I know you have your reasons for believing what you believe, but can you just give the rest of us a break?

How do you know that some fossil is hundreds of thousands of years old? Do they come with labels on?

In fact fossils are dated by the rocks they are in, and rocks are dated by the fossils found in them. All based on the assumption that the rocks are millions of years old in the first place (uniformitarian geology).

There is much evidence to contradict the notion that the earth is ancient. For example polystrate fossils (fossils which pass through layers allegedly millions of years old), tightly folded strata (which must have been soft when folded and not laid down slowly over millions of years).
Etc

Before asking such provocative (and ignorant) questions I suggest you check out some of the facts for yourself.

Perhaps you have heard about the fossil dinosaur bones that have blood cells in them. 65 millons years old? I think not.

The people you are speaking about hold views which are extreme and incorrect. Some of what certain evolutionists say is also extreme and incorrect.

The middle ground, where the correct answer lies, is where we can find agreement between creation and science. We don't know all the answers, but in time, it will become apparent to all.

The human brain is unexplained. Evolution is a theory and that is all. Couldn't it be possible that both divine and natural forces were at work?

Primarily, because fossils aren't as old as you think. The earth is only about 6,000 yrs. old. Science is a lie. Face the truth, before it faces you.
