I have 1 daughter 16 and 2 sons 11 and 12 . My daughter gets 20 dollars a week and the boys get 10 dollers each a week. They have to do chores each day just little things like take out the trash , set the table, put away their clothes etc and on the weekends they clean their rooms. My daughter does a little more because she gets more money. It seems to be working out.

I don't give my four sons an allowance. Things like making their beds, emptying the trash, setting the table, etc. are things that they do because they live in our house and everyone contributes to the workload of our home.
However, they have an opportunity to earn up to $10 a week doing extra chores. Things like cleaning the blinds on the windows, vacuuming the stairs (which is a real pain), cleaning the refrigerator, cleaning the car, etc.
The reason we do this is because it was getting to the point where we couldn't even ask them to put their dishes in the dishwasher without them asking, "How much do I get?"
It is working well. They are in control of how much money they choose to earn and they are learning to budget.

Well since I never got an allowance, nor did my kids for helping around the house, I guess these days kids do. At 16 $15.00 should do it and $10.00 for the 14 yr. old and $5 for the 9 yr. old. I would gradually increase each as they pick up extra chores. At 16 maybe he should get a part time job and pass his chores onto the 14 yr. old.

My mom made a chore chart, we each got 10.00 a week. Each week we would have our own chores. for instance at dinner we would either have to set, clear or wash all week every night, plus either shovel, cut the grass , clean the kitty litter, stuff like that. Never make cleaning their room a chore. That is a must do on their part!! But it should be 10.00 10.00 5.00

So as quickly as you have labored your 11 hours artwork, what else do you do for something of a few time? 2 issues: one million: you have the spare time for seek for a activity, AND attend interviews, devoid of it affecting your pastime, pay, vacations and boss! 2: in spite of the actual incontrovertible fact which you will declare JSA in case you artwork under sixteen hours a week, it relies upon on how plenty you earn from those hours. maximum locate, they gets a commission too plenty to nonetheless get JSA. notwithstanding, constantly well worth asking. 3: you do no longer say how previous you're, yet once you're over 25, as quickly as you're working 30 hours a week, you are able to attempt for working Tax credit. 4: What I recommend, is sign up with a ton of pastime companies and enable them to comprehend the situations you are able to attend interviews, Use despite unfastened time you have (the two formerly your pastime starts off, or after) and use that factor to locate an entire time pastime! (this is what I did) good success!

Forget what your mother says, if your son worked for a company the boss would be giving him raises. Think of yourself as the boss with 3 employees. If others cannot pay him for the work he does for them, let them know they can hire someone else.
