as far as sweet snacks go, i usually rely on thawed frozen berries with vanilla yogurt - for me, it really hits the spot.

Honey I feel your pain, I know all about dieting and wanting your sweets too. The best thing i found that was low-fat and still sweet is Popcorn....it has to be the 100 calorie bags of KETTLE CORN...its sweet and salty, the BEST! and it kicked my sugar cravings with only 100 calories!

Freeze some ripe bananas (out of the peel) and then blend them in a food processor (not a blender - they won't blend well in a blender) until they're smooth but still thick and cold. Then pour into a bowl and top with chocolate sauce (you can get sugar free if you like). It tastes just like ice cream but it's lots healthier.

Dried fruit is always good. It is not low in calories, but it is alot healthier than regualr sweets. Apples are very easy to dry, just sprinkle a little cinnamon on them and instant treat.

Fruit, smoothies, sugar-free jello pudding (no sugar and 60 cals!), sugar free jello gelatin, low carb ice cream (blue bunny makes "Sweet Freedom" snack bars like Snickers ice cream bars, etc), lowfat frozen yogurt (could do vanilla then add berries, bananas, sugar free choc syrup), Angel food cake (you can even buy lower/reduced sugar cakes), dried fruti, trail mix, sugar free candy (russel stovers, whitmans, weightwatchers), many frozen healthier dinner companies make deserts in the frozen food section (like Smart One's, Weightwatcher)

Good luck!

Craving sweets sounds like a sugar addiction problem. Feeding your addiction isn't going to help you lose weight. Have 1/2 a piece of fruit, a baked sweet potato with cinnamon, or some peanut butter.

Try freezing grapes. They are sweet and remind you of eating a frozen sorbet. Just wash and pop in the freezer .
