Volvos are great, mine has about 300,000 and the onything I've had to replace was a hose, and it was easy enough to do myself(took all of an hour, including going to the auto parts store to get the replacement).

hondas and toyotas will last, but i'd go for anyting like chrysler (which includes dodge), GM (which is like chevy, pontiac, cadillac etc.), and ford.

rice burners?? nooooo. i have a Chevrolet 1990 corsica! yep, and all it needs is a new radio. i took it in this summer to get a new battery. and my ol betty drives wonderfully!

pretty much any foreign cars
like-audi-mercedes-BMW-WW-theres a whole bunch but i would stay away from UK cars i dont think they are too good
